Hospitality renovations require meticulous scheduling, tight material control, and discreet job-site organization. When updating active hotel properties, general contractors must stage immense volumes of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E)—alongside drywall, flooring, electrical components, and specialized contractor tools—without disrupting guest experiences, encroaching on fire lanes, or leaving valuable interior finishes exposed to coastal Maine precipitation.
To support an extensive renovation of the Hampton Inn in Freeport, Maine, general contracting firm Granite State Contractors partnered with Abco Rental & Storage, Inc. to deploy a large-scale, on-site storage fleet.
Abco mobilized and placed four (4) 40-foot ground-level mobile storage containers on-site. Providing over 9,500 cumulative cubic feet of weather-sealed, ground-level storage, this four-unit staging depot allows Granite State Contractors to coordinate room-by-room turnover seamlessly, safeguard high-end hospitality fixtures, and maintain clean exterior aesthetics in one of Maine’s busiest commercial and retail corridors.
