Our Story:

Growing up in the trucking industry, the Sanborn brothers are no stranger to the world of construction and storage. With over 30 years in the family business, both Scott and Mark Sanborn are passionate about being your construction support and storage container specialist of choice.

Our Scarborough, Maine Location:

Abco Rental & Storage, Inc., a family-owned Maine company (originally part of Sanborn’s Motor Express) has been renting mobile storage trailers throughout the state  for over 30 years.  Today, we deliver mobile storage units in Maine, parts of New Hampshire, and the North Shore area of Massachusetts from our locations in Scarborough and Eliot, Maine, and Rowley and Andover, Massachusetts.

In 1994, we diversified by adding 20’ and 40’ ground-level mobile storage containers to our fleet, making mobile storage available to homeowners, businesses, and construction projects alike. In 2007, we added office trailers to our fleet — perfect for small businesses as well as  development and renovation projects.

Our Andover, Massachusetts Location:

In 2010, the Sanborn’s purchased Dumpsters R US, Inc, DRU. DRU specializes in waste removal, hauling, and recycling ABC debris. We deliver 10-, 15-, 20-, and 30-yard roll-off containers to contractors, businesses, and homeowners in North Shore Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

In 2015, we added commercial front load containers to our fleet — offering 2-,4-,6-,8-, and 10-yard containers perfect for small offices, restaurants, condos and apartment associations, and retail businesses. In 2018, the Dumpster R US team partnered with Agri-cycle Energy of Scarborough, Maine,  to provide organic waste recycling to Western Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire, and Southern Vermont.

With the next generation of energized Sanborn family members on board, new equipment is continually being added to the fleet, along with a team of responsible drivers and professional staff. Abco Rental & Storage Inc. and Dumpsters R US are committed to fulfilling all your on-site mobile storage rental and waste removal needs.

Thanks to our loyal customers — retailers, contractors, businesses, homeowners, government agencies, schools, non-profits, and others — our businesses continue to grow and expand each year.  In 2021, Abco Rental & Storage, Inc. expanded mobile operations into Southern New Hampshire and Eastern Massachusetts. Dumpsters R US has added two new trucks to our fleet, over 40 new commercial front load containers, and have expanded our organic service route.
